Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have symptoms of severe cough and cold and she is not getting relief, I would suggest you to you should go for ENT specialist and get it examined as it could be due to strep throat. You should go for swab test and sputum test. Start treatment after proper diagnosis is made out. Doctor may prescribe proper course of antibiotics to you. You should give child mild steam inhalation. Mild tranquilizer/ nebulizer can be given to child to relieve anxiety. Give him warm water sip by sip and warm milk with tumeric added in it. Give medication as a combination of expectorants or bronchodilators in very mild dosage.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
