Suggest Alternative Medication For Walamycin-DS
Hello Doctor, My 6 months old boy is suffering from infection. Doctor has prescribed Walamycin DS. 5 ml thrice a day. My boy does not like its taste though. He vomits the medicine. What can be done for this? Is this overdose? My boy s weight is 7 kg.

Based on the history you have shared,your child is suffering from infection thus antibiotic is must for him. And for the weight of 7 kg the dose is appropriate. I would recommend you to give the medicine to the child via dropper so that it goes straight through the throat or you can mix it in some small amount of juice so that he takes it and tolerate it well.
