Suggest Alternative Medication For Losartan

Female, 60, been taking Losarten, 50 mg once a day for 2 yrs. Several side effects-sweats, irregular heartbeats, head muscle and bone aches. My md does not belive these are Losaren related. My body is extremely sensitive to medications. I am no longer taking the Losarten and feel much better but know my BP needs to be regulated. Also tried a diruetic and Lisinapor. Any suggestions

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Losartan is usually tolerated well and doesn't have such side effects. Lisinopril has almost same effect of losartan. Ecg should taken to rule out any arrhythmias. Better to have consultation with cardiologist for a full cardiac evaluation. BP should be monitored regularly also. Beta blockers will be helpful if your BP is not so high.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
