Suggest Alternate Over The Counter Medication For Zetia
Was on Zetia for 7 years. Just retired and my retirement health plan does nt cover Zetia more than 50%, so now it costs me over $2200 year when previously it was $400. I was thinking of switching to Lipitor which is a much lower cost. Are there any side effects switching from Zetia to Lipitor and why is there such a huge price difference?

Zetia has side effects of liver damage so tell your doctor if you have nausea vomiting, loss of appetite and yellowish discolouration of skin and nails.
While Lipitor is HMG co an inhibitor which has side effects like muscle cramps pain and mild loss of memory. However, shifting from Zetia to Lipitor can be done as both reduce serum cholesterol levels.
