My dr prescribed a new blood pressure medication today. Benicar HCT...he said a lot of places don t have it but there may be another one like it....can you tell me if you know if there is one that I can check on? I have tried many different blood pressure meds and always have some side effect..so I had to take lasix. It is harder on my system, but it is the only thing that helped... I would like to try the new med he gave me to try, but if I cant get it or if it is too expensive for me with my insurance, I am going to have to take that into account also.
