Suggest Alternate Medication To Divalproex

hi! i am taking divalproex and oxycabamazepine for the past 5 months as i got depressed after a psycho deceived me in the name of marriage,now my weight is 5feet 4 and weight is 88kilos , age -38. I want to change medication as i feel dull and sedated at times,please help

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
You have mentioned that you are depressed but unfortunately the medicines that you have mentioned doesn't have anti depressant in it. Both are primarily mood stabilizers. Along with the mood stabilizers you need to be on antidepressants as well. If sedation is a problem then you may choose bupropion or fluoxetine as antidepressants as they are nonsedative anti-depressants.
