Suggest A Diet To Increase HDL

I have a friend with slightly low HDL who would like to increase it. He's an avid exerciser (so adding more is likely not going to do it) and also a VERY picky eater (mostly chicken and french fries)... any advice for food to incorporate into a picky eater's diet to increase HDL? We've assessed that he could try to eat some raw onions on a salad (but won't swtich from iceberg to spinach) and he can "tolerate" broccoli. I also suggested eating whole grain pasta more often... any other helpful tricks? Thanks!

Welcome to HCM,

I really appreciate your concern but there is no diet to increase HDL.The only method to increase it would be doing more exercises or brisk walking.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health,
