Suggest OTC Medications That Can Be Taken Along With Azithromycin
I went to the VA Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, because I have had a bad cough for 3 days. The doctor told me I have a bacterial infection cough. He prescribed siltussin DM and azithromycin. Are there any over the counter medicines I could use to help speed up my healing? My cough is getting worse and I know that siltussin has guaifenissin in it.

1. Stay Hydrated
2. Try Lozenges and Hot Drinks
3. Take Steamy Showers, and Use a Humidifier
4. Remove Irritants From the Air
You can Take below medicine also

- Decongestants:Tablet Diaminic DA twice daily for three to for days
- Cough suppressants and expectorants: dextromethorphan,guaifenesin.
