Strange Pulling Sensation In Temple, Dizziness, Feeling Off Balance, Had Sinus Infection. On Antibiotics. What Is Going On?

Hi, I have been having a strange pulling sensation in my right temple and have been dizzy and off balance for a week. I also have spinning sensations that last about a minute each. I went to the Dr who said it was a sinus infection. I am on an antibiotic and meclizine with no improvement. Do you have any ideas of what this could be?

Hi,
You have dizziness which is secondary to upper respiratory infection leading to sinus and causing labrinthitis.

You need to continue antibiotics for a week along with decongestants.

You also require betahistine 16 mg twice daily for 5 days to alleviate dizziness .

Don't worry you will be alright by a week

Also do vestibular rehabilitation exercise (refer Brandt Daroffs exercises) for next 2 weeks to strengthen your vestibular apparatus

However If symptoms are still persisting consult neurologist
