Slightly Swollen Eye. Why Is There Numbness In Scalp? Why Do Fingers Tingle?

Got punched in the left eye, Upper eye is slightly swollen and obviously dark purple from the busted capillaries. It s day 4 now, I still have a slight tingly numbness in my forehead right above my injured eye. The tingly numb sensation also runs on the left side of my scalp slighty. I can still feel my fingertips and everything in these areas but its slightly tingly, Should I be worried?

hi dear thanks for choosing HCM

any injury can damage some superficial nerve fibres which may give tingling.this should not be a cause for worry as they will recover in few days.

i hope your lid movements are normal and the rest of the functioning of eye is normal

you can start vitamin C supplement ,that will fasten your healing

good luck
