Should The Diabetic Medications Be Adjusted According To The Sugar Levels?

I am on High Blood pressure drugs (Amtas AT 5mg. and Natrilix SR mg). My BP which used to be 140/80, has recently gone down to 130/70. I lead a normal, healthy life and I'm 72 years old. Do I have to adjust the medication? My pulse rate is generally around 60.

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care questions.

You are concerned about you medication and whether or not to change it not that you blood pressure is normal. Your pressure is now at goal and we want your pressure to stay at these levels. I would recommend that you continue taking your medication at the current doses. By leading a healthy life, eating properly and exercising you are preventing complications from hypertension.

Hope this answers your question. Please contact us again with your medical questions
