Should Small Amount Of Premarin Be Taken For Insomnia And Depression?

I am 67 and had a hysterectomy at age 28 then had my ovaries removed at age 47 and didn t take any hormones until age 52 due to much depression, severe pains in my knees. At this time I began taking .9Premarin which relieved all my systems then gradually reduced my intake of Premarin slowly. It has been about 2wks since I haven t taken Premarin at all. Should I continue taking a small dose of Premarin for insomnia and depression symtoms?

it's main drawback ...practically its only drawback if increased risk of uterine cancer.

recently there has been a change from previous clinical studies all showing @helpful effects on the heart to results indic@ting a small increase in risk. personally I wonder if the difference in the risk is due to a massive increase in the incidence of obesity changing the effects of the estrogen due to icreased estrogen associated with obesity.
you could get measures of cholesterol and triglycerides before and after resuming the premarin.
