Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Dark vaginal discharge occurs when a little bit of old blood mixes with the normal discharge. Such type of discharge are sometimes seen while you are on hormonal medications such as birth control pills or medications taken for postponement of periods.
The discharge could be just an old tissue that had not passed out during the last period. This tissue may remain in the uterus for quite a while before it passes, and the discharge appears brown or black in colour.
Kindly continue to take the medications as scheduled for the postponement of periods. Once you stop them, you should get your periods by 3 to 7 days.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
