Should I Be Concerned About The Pain On Foot Due To Morton S Neuroma?

My podiatrist diagnosed my problem as Morton s Neuroma and Hallux Rigidus and gave me a cortisone injection about an inch above my big toe on the top of my foot yesterday. Today it seems so much worse, I can barely walk and my whole foot burns and aches. Should I give it a few more days or should I call him again on Monday?
