Should I Be Concerned About The Crunching Noise In My Neck?

Hi, I was crashed into 5weeks ago and shunted forward into 2cars, causing me whiplash. I'm seeing a physio once a week and applying heat and completed exercises which I've been directed to do. As I do the exercises, I've noticed I hear a crunching type sound as I move my neck for some, not all of the exercises. Is this something to be concerned about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it may be the sounds from the muscles, of the neck, and some sort of arthritis would have developed.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically. multivitamins, vitamin D, calcium, ranitidine, and diclofenac when ever there is pain.
Continue having physiotherapy, and visits to the orthopedic surgeon.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
