Should Trimethoprim Be Continued As The Urine Infection Has Cleared Up?

Any way the thing is i am off on holiday today to Ibiza is it ok to drink alcohol when taking them as it doesnt really say on leaflet or should i just stop them as it seems to have cleared up. Iv taken 2 thank you
The symptoms of urinary tract infection will improve soon after taking the first tablets of Bactrim. Thus doesn't mean that infection is totally cured. You should continue to take them for 5 days until the infection is totally cured. Stopping them before the entire course will lead to recurrent infection and will be difficult to treat.
