Should Telvas H12.5 And Telvas H Be Taken For Having LVH?

One of the Dr has prescribed me Telvas H12.5 and another tELVAS h...I HAVE 160/100 BP WHICH FLUCTUATES 150/ 90 SOME TIMES AND RECENT ECG SHOWS LVH. WHICH MEDICINE SHOULD I TAKE AND HOW LONG TO TAKE ? IS THERE ANY SIDE EFFECT OF THIS MEDICINE AND ANY SUPPLEMENTAL VITAMIN TO BE TAKEN ? I AM 60 YEARS OLD.

Thank you for your question! I understand your concern and want to explain that Telvas H, that is telmisartan+hydrochlorthiazide (HCTZ) whichever dose of HCTZ it contains (12,5 or 25 mg) is a good option fr your hypertension treatment, unless you don't have liver or renal dysfunction. to measure the effect of a given dose treatment you have to wait for about 2 to 4 weeks of treatment; and after that if BP values keep going abnormally high you can up titrate (that is to increase the dose), BUT ALWAYS ACCORDING TO THE DOCTOR SUPERVISION.
