Should I Change The Dressing After Removal Of Moles?

Hello - today I had three moles removed. The doctor said I would receive after-care instructions. After I arrived home I realized the office did not provide me with the after-care instructions. Am I to change the dressing? I do recall the nurse telling me to put vaseline over the wounds but that was all she mentioned. Do I have to be sure the wounds do not get wet?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
If the dressing of the wound is done today then it doesn't require further dressing within 48 hours. I suggest you to change the dressing after 48 hours. Use an antibiotic cream to dress the area. Do not use vaseline at this time but could be used after 5 days of procedure. All the best
