Should I Change The Dressing After Removal Of Moles?
Hello - today I had three moles removed. The doctor said I would receive after-care instructions. After I arrived home I realized the office did not provide me with the after-care instructions. Am I to change the dressing? I do recall the nurse telling me to put vaseline over the wounds but that was all she mentioned. Do I have to be sure the wounds do not get wet?
Hello, If the dressing of the wound is done today then it doesn't require further dressing within 48 hours. I suggest you to change the dressing after 48 hours. Use an antibiotic cream to dress the area. Do not use vaseline at this time but could be used after 5 days of procedure. All the best
