Should I Be Worried About Swelling, Pain, And Cramps In Leg And Feet Due To Previous Blood Clot?

I had a blood clot in my left leg that developed into a PE last year. I have since been having problems with swelling, pain and what feels like cramping in my leg and feet. I went to the doctor and he said it was just a side effect. Should I be worried? The symptoms are not going away.
