Should Cyclogest And Duphaston Be Taken In Early Pregnancy After A Previous Miscarriage?
Was spotting in my first pregnancy and my Doctor prescribed cyclogest 400mg in combination with Duphaston 10mg , immediately I took it I started bleeding profusely and had an incomplete miscarriage. Now I m ten weeks pregnant again and my doctor has prescribed the same medication , and I m confused please should I take it or not?

Progesterone supplementation during early pregnancy is needed only when there is evidence of deficiency naturally. Unnecessary use of Progesterone can sometimes lead to miscarriage.
