Should Crestor Be Discontinued While Having Severe Leg Pain?

my husband is taking crestor 5mg daily and has severe pain in his legs specially calf muscles, his cholesterol is normal now. He has diabetes and renal insufficiency. In addition to stop taking crestor what else you advise? How I send you my questions ? Can you read what I wrote ? Let me know

Crestor is the brand name of rosuvastatin. Rosuvastatin can cause muscle pain. You should not stop any of the drugs with out consulting your treating physician.
Since he has diabetes and renal disease, he might require multiple drugs including OHA(oral hypoglycemic agents) and drugs like captopril.
Consult a physician and get evaluated. He will direct you accordingly.
