Should Clonazepam Be Discontinued While On Notriptyline?
i was prescribed notriptyline 25 mg on 09/10/2014 how long does this mediction take start feeling effects from this medicstion. and also was previous prescribed clonazapam 2 mg . should discontinue clonazepam 2mg while taking nortriyline. thankyou for information.
There are no drug interactions between nortryptiline and clonazepam. It can be taken togather. Both medicines has different type of actions and can not replace each other.
Nortryptiline is TCA and mainly used for soamtic symptoms with depression. Clonazepam is anxiolytic and sedative.
Nortryptiline shows action within 3 to 4 week. It would difficult to give more details without history of your illness and diagnosis.
