Hi,

Amlodipine is a blood pressure medication that works by dilating or widening blood vessels.

It is not a diuretic and does not help the body to get rid of excess fluid. This means that it is not likely the cause of the excess urination.

You may need to look at your fluid intake prior to bedtime to see if this is playing a role. You should stop drinking fluids 2 hours before bedtime and limit any green tea or caffeine products or Lipton (black tea).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
