If you are female over 45 with no PMH, known to have a healthy blood pressure, ie 105/57, should you take 75mg aspirin for prevention? FMH +Has 2 brothers, 1 well the other has hypertension. mother died age 37 from IHD, was insulin diabetic. but all her brothers and sisters have devloped NIDD, but still alive and well. Father no PMH with all his family living well in to their late nineties.
I live in Vermont ..... I have chilblains and am looking for non-prescription options to help manage them during the cooler months. I m in good health, no daily prescription medicine use, but I have a family history of heart disease, so I m on a ow dose aspirin regimen. I ve tried L-Arginine with minimal if any success. Most of the remedies I find have blood thinning properties, i.e. Ginkgo, Rosemary, Vitamin C, Garlic, etc... I m wondering if Ginger, magnesium or something else might be an option. Thank you.
