Shooting Pain From Rectum To Lower Back, Vagina And Abdomen. Underlying Cause?

I'm 20 years old I had a child 2 years ago via c-section. But I have had this problem since I was a teenager. Not often but when it occurs it can last up to an hour. What happens is I get these sharp shooting pains up through my rectum into my lower back they also shoot up into my vaginal region and lower abdomen. It hurts so bad I can sit nor stand and usually need to grab something. What could this be?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
As you have mentioned that the pain that you are experiencing was present even before the child birth and cesarean section.
This suggests that the pain is unrelated to the child birth.
The presence of shooting pain radiating from the rectum up to the vaginal wall suggests a nerve related problem.
Is there any abnormality in the bowel and/ or bladder control?
If yes then there is definitely some nerve related problem.
You need to consult a surgeon for clinical examination, relevant investigations and thus management.

Thanks and take care
