Severe Pain In Abdomen. Suggested Removal Of Existing Fibroid. Serious?

Hi I have a fibroid that measures 20.3 14.2 x 12.8 and was told last month at the ER that I will need to have it removed. We do not have insurance or qualify for Medi-cal. Yesterday and today the pain has been as bad as the day my Dr sent me to the ER thinking it was my apendix. I guess my question is if it is safe for me to deal with the pain or if it is serious.
