Severe Elbow Pain, Worsens On Bending. Cause?

Hi I have severe elbow pain . It s not directly on the elbow it s on the left side of my left arm . It recently has been locking a lot and now all of a sudden it s been hurting really badly when I bend it. What I find strange is that I don t do anything left handed, my right hand is my dominant so I figurered if I ever would have this it would be in that side.

Hello, if you have severe pain you can use painkillers(nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine), like diclofenalk 50 mg in tablets 3 times per day after meal (only if you have not allergy for medications and no problems with your stomach, like ulcer). If it is moderate or mild pain you can use same painkillers, but in gel.
Try to keep you arm in one position. Ussualy like your pain could be after some strike or contusion.
In the future, if the pain will persist, you need to do x-ray and some blood checking (rheumatological screening).

Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
