Scratched By Family Dog, Pain In Armpit Where The Last Verorab Was Given. Advise?

i have been scratched by our family dog and was advised immediately to get anti rabies vaccinations. I have done the first 3 cycles and was told that if the dog is ok after 14 days then there is no need to do the last 2 shots. Can you give me some advice as to what you think that i should do, Also i have a lot of pain in my armpit where the last verorab was given and just wondering if that's normal. hope to hear from you soon. Thanks :)

Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

I have read complete details of your question.

If you had already vaccinated your dog then there is no need to have anti rabies. If status of your dog is unknown then you should have complete anti rabies schedule according to WHO guidelines.

Hope this all will help you.

With best wishes.
