General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
HI, When wasp stings, it releases venum in victims body.the victim may get allergic reaction/inflammation & pain due to this. Some times the reaction is more seveir. The reaction you have needs antiallergic ,anti inflammatory& probably antibiotic medicines locally as well as orally.Cold compress will help in reducing swelling. Injection T.T.should be taken. You need to visit your famly physician for assessment of degree of reaction & treatment accordingly. Thanks.
