Red Bump On Arm That Does Not Itch. Any Idea?

One week ago, I noticed a pink-red mark on my arm that honestly was shaped like the state of Florida. It didn't itch, didn't have any bumps, wasn't raised in any way, and was localized to the one small part on the underside of my forearm. A few days later, a white/clear raised pustule appeared and the spot still was surrounded by a red/pink mark and still did not itch. Now the mark is a little bumpy/rough and resembles a burn or a scrape from concrete like if you fell off of a bike. The color is now a deeper red and it still does not itch. It is not contagious and is not anywhere else on my body. Two weeks ago, my cornea was also scratched in my sleep. I'm sure its unrelated, but figured I would mention it.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

The lesion you mentioned may be insect bite induced dermatitis.. Insect toxic dermatitis. There is a development of erythema with or without itching and burning. It occurs suddenly. And may remain for few days. Take steroids in tappering dose for 2 to 3 weeks. If there is itching, take anti histaminics like levocetirizne. And if needed, you may take antibiotics. Apply antibiotic cream.
Avoid soap bath. You may use dettol, for bath. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
