Reason For Dent In The Scalp?

Hi I have a really deep dent in the middle of my scalp on my skull I tend to dig into it a lot and it gives me a good sensation I also have a small bump of the side of the dent and tend to pull the hair out which also gives me a good feeling and makes my right side of my jaw click what is going on with me is there any diagnonsis for this behavior?

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

You need to be examined in detail to find out if you have any focal neurological deficits.

If not, then, there is no need to worry.

If the dent on the scalp is deep, then, a CT scan of brain may be done to see if there is any compression on the underlying brain.

There is no specific diagnosis based on your behavior.
