Prescribed Femodette For Erratic And Heavy Periods, Have Stomach Pain And Breast Tenderness

My Granddaughter has recently been prescribed Femodette in order to regulate her erratic and very heavy periods. She is almost 16 but as yet isn t sexually active so doesn t rely on it for contraceptive purposes. I would just like to know how long it takes for the body to adjust to taking it because she is experiencing some stomach pains and breast tenderness. I am sure it would take longer than 4 days but as a normal teenager she is impatient and feels it isn t right !

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your grand daughter and I would advise here that looking to her age no medicine would required because in this age the menses cycle comes in uneven manner because of the secretion of hormone in not exact proportion and this takes some times, but later or sooner this comes around in regular cycle, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
