Pregnant, Frequent Vomiting Episodes. Taking Emacet, Vomiting Stopped. Safe To Continue Medication?

I am pregnant and have more than 4 episodes of vomiting a day. Doc put me on emacet 4 mg and another tablet (the name of which I dont recall). The vomiting has come to a stop now. Please suggest if there are any side effects if I continue taking them till my delivery date. I was taking Doxinate prior to these tablets and were least effective. Thanks

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
The anti emetic tablet you are taking is safe in pregnancy, please do not worry as vomiting are common in early pregnancy and in most of cases vomiting is controlled with in few weeks,and you can have normal diet as explained by your Gynecologist.
Please take proper rest and in the morning take some thing to eat early in morning to prevent vomiting.
Please consult your doctor and do not continue to take by yourself,I hope after some time this drug will not be required once vomiting subsides you may have to take other supplements like Iron and Folic acid tablets.
Please do not worry take care of your diet and have safe motherhood.
