Pregnant. On Lonopin Injection For High Antibodies. Discontinued Alphadopa After BP In Control. Any Risk?

1. i m 4.5 months pregnant and this is my 2nd preg. in 1st preg i had high B.P problrm in 5or 6 month onwards because my job was stressful. now in this preg initially i had high B.P and used to take alphadopa 3 times a day. in 3rd month i have left the job and B.P was in control ( in normal range like 120/80) as i am regularly monitoring B.P . and i dropped to take alphadopa with doctor's advice. so now my question is that is safe to not to take alphadopa or is there any risk to my pregnency? one more thing i am taking lonopin 0.4ml injection daily as any antibodies(phosphorous and carilopic) are high.

2.Alphadopa-250 should be taken 2 times or 3 times a day?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You are pregnant and having high blood pressure it is called Gestational Hypertension,
The blood pressure may be partly high due to level of stress relate dto job.

But stress is not only cause that is why you should monitor your blood pressure very carefully under supervision of doctor.

If your blood pressure is normal and if your doctor advised to withhold the drug till she tell you to restart.
Take less salt in diet
If you are positive for anticardiolipin antibodies please continue the low molecular heparin injections as advised by your Gynecologist.
Please take care.

Wish you safe motherhood,
Good Luck.
