I haven't had intercourse with anyone else except my boyfriend. We have been in a relationship for 2 years. I tested positive for gardnerella this past week and I am very hurt over this diagnosis. I am suspecting him of being unfaithful in our relationship. I have been told that this isn't necessarily a STD and you can get it other ways, Well, I haven't used tampons since last year and only used them when I went swimming. I don't have an IUD and I don't have intercourse with anyone else. Maybe you can help me understand this more. Confused.
