Painful Knee. Right Foot Weak From Accident, Happen To Put All Weight On Left Foot. Consult Doctor?
Hi I had bought a three wheeler bike cause my legs are weak after fracturing my right foot in july...then as soon as i got on the bike the steering wheel went to the left side. The Bike builder at the store did not put the handlebars level. So as i tried to stop the bike there were no paddle breaks...only some on top but the bike would not stop so i ended up hopping down onto my left leg and the knee popped. Now i cannot bend it without bad pain..i have no health insurance at all. Can i wait like three days to see if the pain starts to go away. Cause i cannot afford a doctor..:(
Give some rest to your knee by applying some pressure bandage around it and take paracetamol/ibuprofen tabs which ever available to you for 2-3 times a day without moving your knee. Do hot fomentation and if pain and swelling do not subside an X ray would be required and of-course an orthopedic consulation as well. OR you immediately go to ER where some help can be sought
