Pain In Upper Left Side, Cramps, Diarrhea, Vomiting After Food Poisoning. Given IV, Morphine Shot. Normal After Food Poisoning?

Had food poison from seafood(under cooked lobster, shrimp and scallops)this last Monday night. Immediately upon our return to our room( 4miles away) I began with cramps and diahria. Then both diahria and vomitting at the same time. The pain in my stomach, upper left side of naval, continued to get worse after nausea I ended up in an Emergency Room while out of town. They gave an IV for dehidration, something for nausia, and a morphine shot for pain. Since then I still have the pain in my upper left side from my ribcage to below my naval. Is this normal after food poisoning.

Hi,
After food poisoning gastric upset and pain in abdomen is common for 2-3 days.
Take antispasmodic tablet like Dicyclomine as and when required.
Take plenty of water.
Take light diet like, curd, rice, buttermilk, lime water juice.
Ok and take care.
