Pain In Right Lower Ribs While Laughing, Sneezing And Moving. History Of UTI Not Healed Completely. Anything Wrong?
hi, I'm jade. My lower ribs on my right side (a little on my left side) randomly hurt. It's like a belt crushing my ribs and I don't know what it means... Sometimes it hurts to laugh, sneeze or move and others I don't feel any pain at all. By the way I got a UTI a few weeks ago and it hasn't fully gone away as it still hurts to pee randomly. Are my ribs hurting just a symptom? A kidney infection or rib bruises/cracks? Am I just over reacting?
The pain in the lower ribs can be due to: 1. Trauma to the rib 2. Spasm of the chest muscles 3. Costochondritis 4. Pleuritis
The pain is aggravated due to laughing or sneezing as it increases the intra abdominal & intra thoracic pressure. So, kindly consult your General Physician.
Meanwhile, complete the treatment course for UTI. As persistence of the causative organ may lead to recurrence & permanent damage to the Renal system.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Thanks & take care.
