Pain In Right Glutous Maximus

I am a 52 year old female survivor of ovarian cancer stage 2C. I had a complete hyterectomy June 2010 and 6 session of chemo at 6 hours a session that ended November 2010. I have had pain in my right glutous maximus for the last 3 weeks, just below my right hip. Could this be serious? Thank you for your help.
