Pain In Ankles, Swelling, Tightness In Calf. What Could Be This?

I have had pain in my achilles since the beginning of May with swelling of my ankle on & off. Starting yesterday I am getting a burning tightness that runs up my calf & then relieves itself. The tightness comes & goes even when I am at rest. I do jog frequently but have replaced it with biking the past month, due to the achilles pain.

Hello,

It seems to be more like Achilles tendonitis.(Inflammation of the Achilles tendon).

The most common cause is trauma to the tendon.
May be due to jogging.

You need

1. Rest.
2. Physiotherapy.
3. MRI if the Ankle.

Consult an orthopedician.
