Out Of Atenolol, Arms Feel Tight With Numbness In Forearms And Hands. Have High BP. Suggest?

I have been out of my atenolol for approximately two weeks checked my blood Pressure on two different machines,
156/122 and 157/119 on one machine and 153/116 a few hours later on another machine. my arms feel tight as well as legs with numbness in forearms and hands. couldn't get into doctor until tomorrow at 11:15 should I wait for appointment?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M.. Forum.
You must joking ? your Blood pressure reading 156/122 , 157/119, 153 / 116 mm of Hg.
You know what is its meaning ,you are in serious trouble . the lower blood pressure ( 122, 119, 116) in your case is most serious and dangerous for life as call it diastolic blood pressure.
Simple atenolol tablet will not cure it .
Consult a cardiologist and get E C H O & COLOR DOPPLER and take complete treatment .

The symptoms may mean cerebrovascular involvement
Go to Emergency / get evaluated      - not wise to wait to see your doctor as scheduled

As per the blood pressure recordings given by you, you comes under stage-II hypertension. So you may require a combination of drugs as well as life style modifications.
