On Typhoid Treatment, Has Severe Tiredness, Profuse Sweating , Appetite Loss. What Type Of Diet Is Advisable?

My son who is 30 yrs old is diagonised typhoid after widal (blood test). He is advised to take Cefixime & Ofloxacin tab. for a week. He is feeling very tired and sweating a lot. and loss of appetite . Now it is 3 days passed. Pl. suggest what kind of indian veg food to be given for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also is the medicine mentioned above is ok?

Hi,

I am sorry that your son is suffering from Typhoid. It is quite a severe disease. It is obvious that he is feeling very tired and sweating a lot.

Regarding his diet, you can give him anything that is bland. Give him plenty of fluids and fruits. The medicine prescribed is right.
