On my next BD I will be 76I have had

On my next BD I will be 76I have had manysurgerries, 6 laminectomies, 1 fusion at L5=pigbone, 1 bunionectomy, big toe left foot and last year when I fell and twisted my knees and back I had surgery only left knee. None of these surgeries helped relieve the pain. I've taken many pain drugs and at best I may get 30% relief, enough to reasonably function without a cane. My pain medications have all been proscribed b y each of my family physicians. When I moved to California my new doctor continued my pain medication-Percocet 10-325 6 times aday every four hours.A month ago my Doctor, for no reason, asked me to find another doctor, that he would not renew my pain medication....So Cold Turkey. So with neuropathy from the bottom of my feet the tip-off my fingers I am in excruciating painI can't sleep but every 2 days hourly fractions because I literally pass out from exhaustion but wake up in less than an hour and begin the cycle over.So without pain medication I'm relegated to living a very short life. hi, my 14 year old daughter is taking prednisolone 2.5mg bd, for CAH. She told me this morning that she has been forgetting to take her medication some days. If she forgets in the evening, is it ok to take a double dose the next mjorning? Should I be concerned? Thankyou, Jenny.

I had fallen down from a motorcycle and there was abrasion on my knee as well as on arm just below the elbow other than swelling of knee and pain in the ribs. The abrasions were cleaned within 10 minutes at a first aid centre and mercurocrome applied and bandaged. Tetanus injection was also given. Next day when I removed the bandage I found that the area was yellowish and wet and very tender. I left that open and did not apply anything or taken any medicine. On the fourth day I find that the skin has dried but pus is oozing from several places. The pain has also not subsided at the abraded area. I had visited a doctor and I was given ciprofloxacin capsules, Famotidine tablets - both BD and soframycin cream to apply. After first application of the cream I find more yellowish liquid (pus?) is flowing out. SO far I have taken one dose of the oral medicines. My question is - is the medication OK or do I have to see a specialist? How long do I wait to find improvement? Do I clean the abraded area, if so, using what?
