Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It is not an important point, the temperature may be variable due to many un important things, like excess saliva etc.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylephrine , citrizine, and paracetamol. Avoid hydrocodone as far as possible.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
