Hi, my mom, who is 80 has been feeling sick the last few days. She s had an upset stomach , headache and colorful flashing in her eyes. It tends to be worse in the left eye. We ve kept a close check on her blood pressure , it s been no higher than 158/95 but this morning it is down to 124/78. She takes high blood pressure and high cholesterol medication.

greetings,

i can understand your concern.i do understand that your mother is having high BP since long.
there are certain complications of high BP in long term.egs hypertensive retina[athy.
its better that you keep her on a regular follow up foe high BP.
Also there are some times that the BP falls more than is required.
kindly consult your doctor for adjustments of BP meds dosage if required.
hope it helps.
