Hello,
I can understand your situation and also your worry. In the current scenario, the best possible suggestion has been given to you by your doctor. If the serum beta-hCG titres double every 2-3 days in serial testing, this indicates good progress in pregnancy. This can be coupled with serial sonograms if permitted, through the trans-vaginal route after 5-6 weeks of pregnancy to see the viability of the fetus and also for any hemorrhages. Avoid all exertion including sexual intercourse, take absolute bed rest and wait for the results. Hope this helps.
