Nose Tender And Heard Loud Pop After Been Hit By Child S Head. Should I Get It Checked?
my 2 year old son hit me in the nose with his head. There was a loud pop that even my daughter and husband could hear, but it didn t bleed. Two weeks later, and it s still a little tender. It looks normal, and I can breath normal. Just wondering what the pop could have been and if I should go get it checked out?

Hello, Welcome to HCM It is my privilege to be able to help you. The sound may be due to head of your son knocking onto the bony part of the nose. The hard upper part of your nose would have come in contact with your sons banging head. For tender nose I would have suggested 1.Apply hot pads - It will reduce the pain and swelling 2.Oral Analgesics With this treatment you will be alright, if you are having any bleeding you need to consult. Thank you.
