Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my knee is swollen and hurts to put pressure on it, it has a spot in the center of the redness, redness and swelling extentds down my shin bone. Its red and feels hot like it has fever. I do hardwoods for a living and i am on my knees alot, been doing that job for 12 years
As your job is leading to the trouble to the knees it has got reduced joint space. Due to continuous compression of the patella over the bursa there will be swelling, pain and redness.
I will advise for doing hot water fermentation and stabilize the knee joint in a knee brace. Do simple static Quadriceps, static hamstring, straight leg raise, ankle toe movements and you should be fine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
