Need Treatment For Repeated Cough And Running Nose
hi, my son 2.5 years of age has been having reapeated cough and running nose from 6 months now. we take him to the doc, and administer medicines as presciribed. it leads to reduction in the cough and cough might vanish for a day or 2 but comes back again. he has been taking medicines after medicines for 6 months now. recently a doctor mentioned that he has enlarged adenoids and gave him metaspray. his cough reduced for sometime but has come back again. Moroever, he has developed this reflux. food comes back to his mouth repeatedly. Is this because of adenoids? how can i get rid of reflux and the cough?

Regarding adenoids,surgery may be needed sometimes.
For symptomatic relief of cough any medicine containing dextromethorphone will help.
Feeding semisolid foods inn propped up position may be useful.
Antacid preparation also helps.
better consult pediatrician as soon as possible.
