Need Suggestions For Storage Of Rabipur Vaccine At Home

sir, dog has bit my son 10 years old i have brought rabipur vaccine for him and stored in freezer as instruction writtern on box suggest that it should be stored in temp 2 degree to 8 degree cetigrate temp. Please help me out that we can use that vaccine or not.

Hi and hank you so much for this query.

I am afraid this vaccine can no longer be used because of how it has been stored. The temperature of a freezer is typical less than zero degrees which is out of the range of temperature recommended for the storage of this vaccine. I will suggest that you allow the vaccines with the pharmacist and go there each time to collect for administration rather than bringing them home when you are not too sure of the storage conditions.
